About

JODY COOK, BA / BSW / MSW / RSW
SEP/ EMDR Certified and Consultant in Training/PMH-C
I am a Registered Social Worker with over 25 years experience in the social work field.
Located inside Evolve Strength in South Edmonton Common
My work is rooted in an anti-oppressive framework. This means acknowledging the impact of systemic inequities, respecting the lived experiences you bring, and collaborating in ways that honor your autonomy, culture, and identity. I strive to create an environment where all parts of you are welcomed—where you can rest from the pressures of survival and grow into deeper wellbeing.
In our sessions, you can expect a blend of nervous-system awareness, trauma-informed practices, and a deeply human connection. My goal is to create a space where healing feels possible, where your story is met with compassion, and where you can experience the relief of being supported, understood, and empowered.
I am a registered social worker in Alberta, British Columbia and Northwest Territories.
I am located in the Edmonton area, and offer in person or online therapy in Edmonton, Alberta and online therapy for individuals and couples in Alberta, British Columbia and Northwest Territories.
